Choc-O-Lait: Hot chocolate on a stick to get new inspiration and stay motivated with

I truly believe that it is very important, if not necessary, to work in a different place from time to time. It gives you not only some new inspiration but also an encouraging and fresh energy to stay motivated. A few weeks ago, I went to a local coffee/thee shop called Kaldi, exactly for this reason.

I had never been to Kaldi before so it was a great opportunity for me to see and experience it myself. It’s a clean, art-deco-like place that smells, as expected, like coffee and thee. The lady behind the counter was very friendly and she took her time to make a small conversation with each and every customer. It was Kaldi’s first plus point.

It’s second plus point was when she explained very nicely what kind of coffee, thee, other beverages and snacks she had to offer. She also mentioned about some Choc-O-Lait sticks (hot chocolate on a stick). Wondering how it’d be taste like so I ordered a Choc-O-Lait Hazelnut stick, a nuts muffin and a cup of hot soy milk to put the stick into (see image above).

The hot Choc-O-Lait and the organic thee were very delicious to enjoy. The nuts muffin was, however, a little bit to sweet for my taste, especially when you’re drinking a cup of Choc-O-Lait with it. When I mentioned it to the lady behind the corner, she said that I could better wash it away with a cup of organic tea. Great, I got the organic tea absolutely for free using Kaldi’s coupon on my Passbook app. It was Kaldi’s third plus point.

The venue itself is located in a great location. It’s absolutely an ideal place to drink, to relax and to catch up with some typing work for a while. However, if you really need to do some heavy publishing/posting work on your electronic device of any kind, Kaldi is not the right place to be. Why? Because it lacks of wall outlets and (free) wifi.

There was no forth plus point for Kaldi but the Choc-O-Lait stick is really worth trying to get new inspiration and stay motivated with. That’s for sure!
