Hi., The way you suggest to return a book is to try to take out another book first.

But what if I’m not ready to take out another book? And I just want to return the book I have read? On my Paperwhite I just cannot figure out how to do that!

Thanks for your comment. A great question: If you are not planning to borrow another ebook and you just want to return the one that you’ve read, let me first remind you that you can delete your borrowed ebook by tapping the “Delete this ebook” button on your Kindle Paperwhite. However, deleting does not equal to returning. To return an ebook, you’ll do the following steps on the web:

      1. Log in to your Amazon account
      2. Go to Manage Your Kindle
      3. On your Kindle Library, select the ebook that you want to return
      4. Select “Return this book” on the Actions button

And that is it. Let me know if it helps and if you have had another question.

      Regards, Lia
