Perhaps you are already familiar with the Amazon’s Kindle First, which is a program that offers customers early access to new Kindle books across popular genres from Amazon Publishing.

If you are a Prime’s member, you can choose one of the four pre-released Kindle First books for FREE every month as one of your Amazon Prime’s benefits. You can choose and download the Kindle First books online here or directly on your Kindle Paperwhite.

There are, however, important things that you need to know about the Amazon’s Kindle First before downloading:

• Prime members are automatically eligible for Kindle First.
• Prime members can enjoy one of the four books selected by Amazon Publishing editors for free every month.
• Kindle First books can be read on any Kindle device or free Kindle reading apps and become part of customer’s permanent libraries.
• Prime members can sign up to receive a monthly e-mail announcing new Kindle First picks.
• Kindle First is currently available to US customers only.
• Prime invitees are not eligible for free downloads.
• The downloaded Kindle First books cannot be returned.

Now, let’s get started with the tutorial on how to download the Kindle First books on your Kindle Paperwhite:

1. Tap on the Cart icon on your Kindle Paperwhite to go to the Amazon.com Kindle Store (see image above). Please note that you need to be connected to the internet connection.

2. Select “Kindle First” on your Amazon.com Kindle First to go to your Kindle First picks (see image above).

3. On your Kindle First, choose one of the four pre-released Kindle First books for free (see image above).

4. You can read the book details of the four pre-released Kindle First books before downloading. Tap on the Buy Now for $0.00 button to download your chosen Kindle First book (see image above).

5. You’ll be prompted this notification (see image above). At this point, you can either cancel the order (if you’ve changed your mind about your chosen Kindle First book) or tap Close to complete your (free) purchase.

6. Your chosen Kindle First book will now be download and is ready to be read on your Kindle Paperwhite. Enjoy!
