If you still don’t know what to choose between Netflix and Prime Instant Video, and keep comparing their resemblances, differences, quality and value. Please stop comparing the two services because you’d probably end up being more confused.
Besides, compering them is like comparing a tablet with an e-reader. You can read an ebook on a tablet with eye strain and other downsides. However, a tablet has obviously had many other features, whilst an e-reader is especially made for reading only.
Netflix is a video rental and streaming only service, so it is expected to have more content and a better streaming quality than Prime Instant Video. However, Prime Instant Video is only one of many Amazon Prime’s services and benefits.
In short, why should you choose if you can have both of those amazing services with their particular benefits? I love both Netflix and Prime Instant Video because they keep adding more and more great content to their video collection.
Somehow Prime Instant Video keeps surprising me with its rapidly-growing video collection. In fact, there are at least 10 Must-Watch TV shows on Prime Instant Video that you won’t find on Netflix:
1. The Americans
The Americans is a period drama about the complex marriage of two KGB spies posing as Americans in suburban Washington D.C. shortly after Ronald Reagan is elected President.
2. Covert Affairs
Covert Affairs is about Annie Walker, a young CIA operative whose exceptional linguistic skills make her invaluable to the Agency in missions that span a globe.
3. Downton Abbey
The lives of the Crawley family and Downton Abbey’s servants are changed for ever when the sinking of the Titanic leaves the estate without its heir and his son.
4. The Good Wife
The Good Wife is a drama starring Julianna Margulies as a wife and mother who boldly assumes full responsibility for her family and re-enters the workforce after her husband’s very public sex and political corruption scandal lands him in jail.
Grimm is drama series inspired by the classic Grimm’s Fairy Tales. Portland homicide Detective Nick Burkhardt discovers that he is descended from an elite line of criminal profilers known as “Grimms”, charged with keeping balance between humanity and the mythological creatures of the world.
U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens us a modern day 19th century-style lawman, enforcing his brand of justice in a way that puts a target on his back with criminals and places him at odds with his bosses in the Marshal service.
7. Mr Selfridge
Jeremy Piven stars as a wheeling-dealing American who shows early 1900s Londonerd how to shop. Based on the life of colorful retail magnate Harry Gordon Selfridge.
Suits stars Gabriel Macht, as one of Manhattan’s top corporate lawyers sets out to recruit a new hotshot associate and hires the only guy that impresses him.
9. Under The Dome
Under The Dome is the story of a small town that is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous transparent dome.
Ragnar is pitted against Rollo over a land dispute that he is trying to settle on behalf of King Horik. A deadly fever hits Kattegat putting Ragnar’s wife and daughter’s lives in grave danger.
